If it's not one thing...

...It's another.

As you know, we sold our home about 4 weeks ago. Praise the Lord! It is a miracle that it sold, especially since it was FSBO. The Realtors that we work with when we go to purchase a home were also this couple's Realtors and they graciously bowed out so we could make this sale go through financially for both parties. Impressive

Everything was going smoothly until we had our appraisal last week. It came back too low. Ugh!

So last we heard, the buyers are trying to figure out what they can do still get our home. They have to come up with closings costs (over $5,000). I know if we were in their shoes, it would be difficult to come up with that cash, so we are calling on the Lord again to pull this one through.

We are having a difficult time finding a home as well. At this point we have about exhausted the our list and we hit road block after road block. I sometimes think that Jesus is working it out this way just to show how incredible He is. We see it as a roadblock, maybe He sees it as part of our future testimony of His work.

So anyways, the house saga continues. I have put packing on hold for a few days, the house hunt continues though. I mean, come on, it's fun to look even if we may not be moving :)

Update:

We got into contact with the buyers and they are putting their money together to move forward with the sale! What good news, yet it is scary because we are going to have to move into a rental in 3.5 weeks.
