Friday Desserts
So, now that we have moved into our new, much larger home, our transition for old house to new house has posed a few financial issues.
I can't work outside the home so I have started a new business with refurbished furniture and of course I have my jewelry shop. I have sold some clothes and really pared down on purchasing the 'fun stuff' and eating out. We have been going over what else we can cut back on as well.
I have been wondering for over a month now if I could do some other things. One is, I have brainstormed if there is something that you know of, of mine, that you love, and I am willing to part with, I can sell it to ya ;) Although, I think everything you would love, I still love, so I don't think that would work out so well.
My other thought is, I LOVE to bake. I can't bake everyday, I can't get a license for it, nor do I have or want access to a commercial kitchen. No, I don't have my food handlers card either. So, here's the deal. I was wondering if, every Friday, I baked batches of cookies, cakes, pies or cupcakes and sold them on the cheap (less than your traditional bakery) and you can swing by to pick them up on your way home from work and have your goodies for the weekend.
For example, this Friday, I could bake up a back of Chocolate Chip & Heath Bar cookies and you can grab them for $4 a dozen. Each cookie would have their own price but would all tend to be around this price.
What do you think? Would you pop by on a Friday evening for freshly baked cookies and other goodies?
